Short Film „Corona auf Föhr“ released

Shooting for „Quo vadis Föhr“ completed, premiere set for June 21st 2020

Shooting for the new documentary about the impacts of climate change in the past, presence and future of the island Föhr has been completed. The project is now on postproduction. The premiere will take place on June 21st 2020 in Wyk on the island Föhr.

„After Midnight“ nominated for german newcomer award „Jung und Abgedreht 2020“

Christopher Kyas‘ fictional short film „After Midnight“ was nominated for the reknown German newcomer award „Jung und abgedreht 2020“. The competition will take place on January 26th 2020 in Hanau. The screening of „After Midnight“ is set for 1:30 p.m. in the Kinopolis movie theatre.

Shooting for documentary „Quo vadis Föhr?“ started

From the devastating storm surges in the 13th and 14th centuries, when the small ice age in Northern Europe led to dramatic changes in the coastal landscape on the North Sea, to the effects of climate change that are already being felt on Föhr, the film asks the existential questions for our island: How will life on Föhr change as the sea level rises in the next few decades? Do we have to prepare for catastrophes comparable to the events of 800 years ago? What can we do? Quo vadis Föhr?

Post production for the new documentary "Das Seebad Wyk" has started. Release is planned for June 2019.

1/2019: „After Midnight“ and „Anna – No Art without Fantasy“ released

After finishing the post production work for our short film "After Midnight" and our documentary "Anna - No Art without Fanatsy", we have realeased international versions of both projects with english subtitles to run at festivals during 2019.

Shooting for short film and documentary in Berlin finished

In July 2018 we were able to successfully finish the shooting for our two new movies. During 12 shooting days (8 for the documentary and 4 for the short film) we have captured great material. Everything has worked out as we had hoped, some things even better. In the next months we will be in post production. Under Projects you can stay tunes on our progress.

Newcomer Festival Up and Coming

Already while attending high school ….

Fatih Akin wrote short stories and scripts and shot first films with a Super 8 camera during his high school time. He won the Golden Bear 2004 at the Berlin Film Festival Berlinale as the best movie for „Against the wall“.
